Welcome New Staff Kristan Miller!

Please welcome Kristan Miller as she joins the staff at the Advocacy Network for Children as a
CAC Coordinator.

Kristan has a bachelors and masters degrees in education and was a Special Education Teacher/Case Manager for 15 years, and has been a foster parent trainer with Be Strong Families. She has also worked with students and adults with disabilities as a vocational rehabilitation counselor and is a certified Mental Health First Aider.

Kristan is married to husband, Brad. Together they have four sons and one daughter and live in rural Pike County. Kristen states “I am looking forward to working with this team!”

Informative News for August 2023!

Summer is winding down and soon the kids will be starting school for the first time or returning to school. Changes to a child’s schedule can mean changes for the whole family and added stress as everyone works to adjust. Read our newsletters for Back to School tips and more! Welcome New Staff Anita Hanke!

Please welcome Anita Hanke as she joins the staff at Advocacy Network for Children as a CAC Coordinator/ Prevention Specialist.

She is the current Board President of Covered Bottoms Diaper Bank. Anita served as a Paraprofessional at Blessed Sacrament. She also was past AOK Coordinator.

Anita stated, “I am excited to join this team to help provide a safer and better place for our children. I feel honored to be called a CAC Coordinator/Prevention Specialist.”
