The Children’s Advocacy Center of Pike County is part of the Advocacy Network for Children and serves the communities Pike, Morgan and Scott counties in Illinois. Interview sites are located in each county. The Pike county interview site is located in Pittsfield, IL, the county seat and is within a mile of the courthouse, state’s attorney’s office, and the Pike County Sheriff’s Department. This facility is handicapped accessible. Interview sites in each county reduce the amount of travel needed for the child and family to meet with the Multi-disciplinary Team. The CAC Coordinator participates in local organizations and networks with other agencies in the community.
The Pike county location serves as the office for Pike County. The CAC office is located a private area at their current location. There is an outside entrance near the office. The office and all case records are securely locked. Interviews are not conducted at times of other functions in order to maintain a high level of privacy for the victims and families. Our new location allows the CAC to use the meeting rooms and kitchen for training and meetings as needed.
