Here for Good Together with the Community Foundation

The agency received a $7,500.00 grant from the Ralph Oakley Family Fund through the Community Foundation on August 17, 2022. Funds will be used by the agency to host a human trafficking conference this fall in Quincy. The check was presented by Lance Grady, Board Chair, to Jamie Carroll, CAC Coordinator for Adams, County, IL.

We are so glad to have the opportunity to support the ever-changing needs within our community!

August 2022 News!

August is here and brings with it the dog days of summer and children going back to school.

Now is a great time to remind children and families, and the professionals they work with on a daily basis, about personal safety and boundaries. If you are a school professional, teach Pre-K through 2nd grade, and would like your class to receive a visit from Happy Bear as part of our physical and sexual abuse prevention program, please call (217) 223-2272.

When Helping is Now the Easiest!

Yesterday we told you it’s never been easier to help the Advocacy Network for Children make a difference in the lives of children and families and we spoke to soon, because now its the easiest!

Hy-Vee and Refreshment Services Pepsi, raised the bar on helping today! Now when you buy a case of Pepsi products, Hy-vee Bakery fresh cookies, meat department kabobs, shrimp skewers and America’s cut pork chops at the Quincy Hy-Vee locations at 1400 Harrison and 3700 Broadway between July 8th and July 12th, $.25 per case on the Pepsi products will be donated to Advocacy Network for Children, and Hy-vee will make an additional donation to our agency for the previously mentioned grocery items!

Looks like dinner has been planned! Sounds great to us! Head on over to either Hy-vee location. #ahelpfulsmileineveryaisle #thatswhatIlike
