July has arrived with the heat of summer and independence celebrations! This is a great time to take and remind people of our agency’s mission – to protect and uphold the rights of children when wrongs have been committed against them, to help abused or neglected children have safe permanent homes where they can thrive, to act as a powerful voice in these children’s best interests and to educate the public about the plight of abused children.

Pike County CASA Adds Volunteers!
Congratulations to our newest Pike CASA volunteers Karen Fox and Kristi Sanderson. They were sworn in Judge Hooker on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at the Pike County Courthouse in Pittsfield, IL. Welcome to the CASA family!

School is mostly out and summer is right around the corner. Summer is a wonderful time to reconnect with friends and family and make arrangements for staycations and trips. The Advocacy Network for Children hopes everyone has a safe and healthy summer. Our agency will still be hard at work providing forensic interviews, advocacy services, referrals to outside resources and CASA assistance and coordination for those in need.
