Children Are Waiting…

Children are waiting for a CASA to speak up for them. We need more volunteers!

Consider Volunteering as a CASA

WHO: Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA) of Hancock County.

WHERE: INFO Meeting– Feb 4th, 12:00 PM
Memorial Medical Clinic conference room,
1450 N Co Rd 2050, Carthage, IL
Lunch and Learn more about how you can change a child’s story in our community by becoming a Court Appointed Special Advocate! Lunch is on us if you RSVP.

WHY: There are children in the court system waiting for a CASA Volunteer. CASA volunteers are trained community volunteers appointed by a judge to speak up for abused or neglected children in the court system. CASA volunteers come from all walks of life and no special experience is required.

WHEN: Training for new CASA’s that apply will begin on:
February 11th – March 5th, every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

If you are unable to attend the informational meeting on Feb. 4th, you can still contact the CASA Coordinator to apply in time for the February 11th -March 5th, evening training.
