Why do you do what you do? Our why is that the numbers in our 10 county combined area where we have CASA, CAC and Happy Bear services continue to grow. CASA served as a voice for 650 children, with many more on waiting lists because we need more volunteers. Our CAC conducted almost 420 local forensic interviews, more cases went unreported and there will be more children who need to tell their story so they can begin to heal. And Happy Bear was bearing everywhere a bear could bear, and 2800 students in pre-k through 5th grade saw prevention presentations.
