ANC Chosen As Beneficiary for Hy-Vee Reusable Bag Program

Advocacy Network for Children was selected as the March beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the Hy-Vee located at 1400 Harrison Street, Quincy. Advocacy Network for Children will receive a $1.00 donation every time a $2.50 red “My Heart” Reusable Bag is purchased at this location during March, unless otherwise directed by the customer through the Giving Tag attached to the bag.

“We are very excited to be chosen as a recipient of these funds by our neighbors at Hy-Vee,” said Todd Shackelford, Executive Director of Advocacy Network for Children. “Funds received will help us in our mission to serve abused and neglected children here in our community.” Advocacy Network for Children provides two distinct and unique programs for abused and neglected children, the Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children (CASA) and the Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC). In addition, it offers a Prevention Program to children Pre-K through 5th grade.
