The Brown County Children’s Advocacy Center provides a safe, child-friendly setting for children and families involved in child abuse investigations.
Children and families from Brown County receive CAC services at our interview location in Rushville, which provides a private and supportive environment for forensic interviews and coordination with members of the Multidisciplinary Team.
CAC staff work alongside law enforcement, child protection, prosecutors, medical and mental health professionals, victim advocates, and other community partners to provide a coordinated response to allegations of child abuse.
Families receive support throughout the process, including information and assistance, referrals to appropriate services and resources, and ongoing advocacy when needed.
